News Release Pennsylvania Sustainable Water Infrastructure Task Force to Hold First Meeting Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Kathleen A. McGinty will convene the first meeting of the Sustainable Infrastructure Task Force at 9:30 a.m., Monday, April 14, in Room 105 of the Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market St., Harrisburg. Governor Edward G. Rendell created the task force last month through executive order to evaluate what is needed to ensure Pennsylvania maintains sustainable water and wastewater systems in light of continued cuts by the federal government. The commonwealth is facing nearly $20 billion in unmet funding needs for the state's drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.
